Communities are part of the process, not an audience.

On every project, most unskilled workers are hired from the communities where we build. We aim to leave lasting local capacity, not just finished infrastructure.

What remains when the project ends.

01

Jobs that stay local

Most unskilled workers are hired directly from local communities.

02

Skills that remain

Local workers are trained in construction trades, materials handling and safety practices. That knowledge stays when the machinery leaves.

03

Communities that take part

Indigenous, Afro-Colombian and rural communities are part of how the work gets done, not spectators.

04

Women in an industry that often leaves them out

Women’s participation at MARA is high, on site and in management.

05

Real local roots

We leave infrastructure, jobs and know-how in places that see little economic activity.

Every project leaves more than what it builds: trained people and a community that took part.
