Clara Inés Hernández
She manages construction on site, even in the most remote parts of the country. More than three decades of building by one rule that never changes: doing things right is not negotiable.
MARA is a small company with a stable team: turnover is low, tenure is long and the team is made up of professionals. Technical leadership rests with the CEO, who builds in the field. This is the team behind the way MARA works.

At MARA, leadership isn’t drawn on an org chart; it is proven on site. The company is run by a woman who builds in the field, which is uncommon in this industry, and that closeness shapes how the work gets done: management is where the construction is.
It is also a company that develops its people. Several team members grew within MARA, from support roles into coordination and technical management roles. Here, people grow.

Behind every project is a team of site engineers, foremen, skilled tradespeople and technical staff who rotate between projects as each location requires, from the páramos of Boyacá to the islands of the Pacific and the Caribbean. They are the people who build, day after day, wherever the project is.
